Penguins at the beach

We had a great time at the beach this weekend. In the car on the way to Tumon Bas was reading a book about penguins. He had so many question so I started explaining about their behaviors. One thing he loved was that the mommy had to find food for dad and the baby. As soon as we arrived on the beach we turned into mommy penguin, daddy penguin, big penguin and small penguin. Bas took my hand and ran into the water! Mommy we have to find fish for daddy penguin and the little one. “Ready? One two three” we dove under and brought them to them more than 10 times. He took good care of his family. And Ekko he loved the ocean beach part the best throwing coral pieces in the ocean.

Bas was sooooo sweet to Ekko. Before we went in the ocean he gave them the sweetest kiss ever. This is my favorite picture and Ekko screaming from joy!

Oh yes, and even today we are still family penguin. It usually takes a while, hihi, I LOVE it!

We hadden de beste tijd aan het strand dit weekend. In de auto op weg naar Tumon las Bas een boek over pinguïns. Hij had zoveel vragen dat ik begonnen te vertellen over het gedrag van de dieren. Een ding vond hij fantastisch dat de mama voedsel moest vinden voor de papa en de baby. Zodra we op het strand arriveerden veranderden we in mama pinguïn, papa pinguïn, grote en kleine pinguïn. Bas nam mijn hand en liep het water in. Mama we moeten vis vinden voor papa en het kleintje. “Klaar? Een, twee, drie.” We doken onder en brachten hen meer dan 10 keer te eten. Hij droeg goed zorg voor zijn familie. En Ekko hij de oceaan en het strand grens het leukst en gooide stukjes koraal de zee in.

Bas was zoooooooo lief tegen Ekko. Voor we de zee in gingen gaf hij Ekko zo een lieve kus. Dit is mijn favoriete foto. Ekko gilde van plezier!
