It has been raining for a week now. Only one afternoon sun, the rest was overcastted. So only one time to the beach, never happened before! In between the rain we try to take walks and bike rides, puddle rides and runs in the neighborhood; which is fun too, but we end up in a rain shower most of the time and have to head home quickly. Today Bas was telling me he was cold! So time for a cup of the good old Belgian chocolate milk!! That warmed us up quickly.
Het is al een week aan het regenen nu. Enkel 1 namiddag zin, de rest bewolkt. Dus maar 1 keer naar zee, dat is nog nooit gebeurt. Tussen de regenbuien in proberen we in buurt wat te wandelen en fietsen, op straat of in de plassen. Dat is ook heel leuk, maar meestal komen we nat terug of moeten we ons haasten wanneer de wind opsteekt. Vandaag zei Bas me dat hij koud had! Tijd om een kopje goed Belgische chocolademelk klaar te maken. Het warmde ons goed op!
Het warmde Bas goed op (Ekko heeft precies altijd warm) want terwijl ik de afwas deed hoorde ik plots wat geniepig lachen ... ik keek ... niemand! Bas en Ekko waren in de regen rond het huis aan het toeren met een klein fietsje, ze wisselden spontaan bij elke toer en duwden elkaar vooruit, lachend van plezier!
It definitely warmed up Bas (Ekko is always warm it seems) because a bit later, while I was doing the dishes I heard giggling outside … I looked … nobody! Both of them where touring in the rain outside around the house with a little bike, taking turns spontaneously after every tour, laughing of joy!!
