Ekko wasn’t so interested in book so far ... until 2 weeks ago. He wants to read ALL the time; but in an Ekko way. He goes and gets them and asks with his finger what he wants to know. He turns the pages himself, skips pages or turns the book upside down. In no time he gets all of the books from the shelves, funny how our floor is scattered with books in no time. He has a few favorites but will still look at the others for new discoveries. Sure he is interested. This week he even started to listen to stories. Bas and me really enjoy this new interest and happily tell him something about whatever he is pointing at.
Ekko was tot nu toe niet zo geïnteresseerd in boeken ... tot twee weken geleden. Hij wil echt HEEL de tijd maar lezen. Hij gaat ze halen en wijst een tekening of foto aan met zijn vinger vragend ‘daar?’, hij wil weten wat het is op zijn Ekko’s. Hij draait zelf het blad om, slaat bladzijden over of draait het boek onderste boven. Hij haalt in geen tijd het hele boekenrek leeg, grappig hoe de vloer vol boeken ligt. Hij heeft zijn favorieten maar wil nog steeds naar de andere kijken, op zoek naar nieuwe ontdekkingen. Deze week begon hij zelfs kort naar verhaaltjes te luisteren. Bas en ik genieten van deze nieuwe interesse en vertellen hem blij over wat hij ons aanwijst.
