Bassies favorite places in the city

We had an assignment for Kindermusik (the theme is city). We had to make a city. I was Bassies idea to make the buildings he likes the best in Guam. We worked on this for like 5 hours (not straight but in two sessions). You can see them here.

TUMON

- underwaterworld (his absolute favorite): he just couldn’t stop looking at it and adding more fishes he new: we used two old drinking bottle for the aquarium, the base is an old plastic egg, the fishes are stickers or cuts out of old magazines

- the ice cream bar: he just loves ice cream, and I love it too, when the two of us go out together you can spot us eating an ice cream

- the ocean and the surfers of course

AGANA

- the chief statue on the Agana loop: he wants to know everything about them and the Chamorro culture interests him so much

- the cathedral, Bas always had something with churches, but this cathedral with his loud bells is his absolute favorite, we sometime quickly drive by to look at it and if we are lucky we stop to hear the bell

- Pay-less: Bas loves to go shopping with me and his brother Ekko. It is a weekly activity followed by an out-eating. They just love it.

We hadden een opdracht voor Kindermusik (het thema is de stad). We moesten een stad maken. Het was Bas zijn idee om zijn favoriete gebouwen in Guam te bouwen. We werken aan het project voor wel 5 uren (in twee sessies). Je kan de gebouwen hier zien:

TUMON

- underwaterworld (zijn absoluut favoriet): hij kon gewoon niet stoppen er naar te kijken en er allerlei dingen aan toe voegen: we gebruiken oude plastieken flesjes, de basis is een oud plastieken ei, de vissen zijn stickers of knipsels uit oude magazines.

- ijsjes bar: hij houdt super veel van ijsjes, ik ook, dus kan je ons samen wel vaak zien op een terrasje wanneer we op stap zijn

- de oceaan en de surfers natuurlijk

AGANA

- het opperhoold stambeeld op het rond punt: hij wil er alles over weten en de Chamorro cultuur interesseert hem enorm

- de katerdraal, Bas vond kerken altijd al fantastisch, maar deze katedraal met de luide klokken is zijn absolute favoriet, we rijden er somes snel voorbij om te kijken en wanneer we geluk hebben luiden de klokken net.

- Pay-less: Bas houdt van winkelen met mij en zijn broer Ekko. Het is een weekelijkse activitei gevolgd door een etentje: zij vinden dat gewoon geweldig.
