Logan climbed trees, big trees. And Bas always looks at him with big admiration. Now he started himself a while ago. In the beginning I was kind of scared and would not even stand back an inch away from him. Now I’m a bit more relaxed and I even dared to take a picture. He says to me: “no worries mommie, I’m careful, I will go slowly”. The climbing up is ok, down is harder. The branches also bend. But he can do it. I always thought is would be fun having climbing kids. Logan klimt graag in de bomen, in van die grote bomen. Bas kijkt altijd vol bewondering. Nu begon hij zelf een tijdje geleden. In het begin was ik nogal bang en ik ging geen centimeter van hem vandaan. Nu ben ik al wat meer op mijn gemak en ik durf zelfs een foto nemen. Hij zegt me dan: “Mommie, je moet niet bang zijn, ik zal het traag doen”. Het naar omhoog klimmem is ok, maar naar beneden is moeilijker. De takken buigen door. Maar hij kan het. Ik vond de gedachte altijd fijn klimmende kindjes te hebben.

ReplyDeleteI know, I think so too, but he said it is ok, and indeed it doesn't bend. Logan climbs up to the tops and uses the tiny ones too. He he that tree over and over.

I haven't seen Emma climb so much lately - but understandable in the winter. And though we have lots and lots of lovely trees in the park behind our house, the low branches seem to be trimmed often. But she does love a good climb at the park (when the weather is good).
