My most beautiful moment of the day

This is the beach where we walk to every day. After about 10-15 minutes walking from our house we have to climb over a fence and cross a piece of land with some palm trees and pine trees (we call it a forest) before arriving on the beach. Bas takes off as soon as we climb over the fence and runs trough the palm trees and pine trees without looking back. He kicks off his shoes and looks at the ocean. If Ekko is not asleep by that time; he sure falls asleep in seconds when he hears the ocean. This is actually my most beautiful moment of the day! It truly feels like the most peaceful place on earth.

Dit is het strand waar we elke dag naartoe wandelen. Na ongeveer 10-15 min stappen klimmen we over een hek en wandelen we over een stuk eigendom met palmbomen en naaldbomen (we noemen het een bos) vooraleer we op het strand aankomen. Bas begint te lopen zodra we over het hek klimmen en loopt tussen de plambomen en naaldbomen zonder om te kijken naar de zee. Als Ekko nog niet slaapt dan doet hij dat in enkele seconden wanneer hij de golven hoort. Dit is eigenlijk mijn mooiste moment van de dag! Dit is echt de meest vredevolle plek op aarde voor ons.
